The Koura was inspired by woven baskets and also from the curled form of the New Zealand native fresh water shrimp, "koura" - its Maori name.
Larger Koura pendants work well in higher spaces such as entrance voids and staircases. (And often in multiples.) The smaller Kouras are very versatile and are often used over island benches and smaller spaces such as narrow hallways. Depending on your space, we can suggest an appropriate size.
Designed and manufactured in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
Assembly: Koura pendants are designed to be assembled at home - and come complete with 2m white flex, ceiling rose, bulb holder and clear assembly instructions. There are also instructional videos available to help. (A globe is not supplied as standard).
