Situated in the thriving suburb of Kew in Melbourne, The Alexandra Penthouse makes a very sophisticated statement. The contemporary interior by Dita Studio is highly detailed, crafted and carefully considered.

With high ceilings and expansive windows, the living and dining areas are awash with natural light, which are characterised by a refined palette of materials that include timber and stone in muted tones.

From the stone hearth and sculptural staircase that form striking focal points to the handcrafted joinery, the attention to detail is highly evident as you walk through and experience each and every space.

Tongue n Groove solid engineered European oak floorboards in the Oslo colour, Eterno classic wire-brushed finish and Herringbone Parquetry format feature throughout this penthouse interior, Oslo features a mix of soft grey and brown tones with an antique white-washed grain that highlights the unique texture of oak.

The unique oversized Herringbone Parquetry that is featured is a modern play on a traditional design. The generous boards give a room the appearance of more space while adding dimension and elegance.

The Alexandra Penthouse

Designed to be experienced from the inside out, this renovated Victorian heritage home in Melbourne’s inner north west by Mitsuori Architects is aptly named ‘Immersion House’. To craft an interior that truly immersed its residents, the architects turned to a palette of natural materials – including Tongue & Groove solid engineered European oak boards in 

 used consistently across various surfaces, such as the floor, ceiling, walls, and joinery.

A small 1882 worker’s cottage in Sydney’s inner-west suburb of Leichhardt has been transformed into a stunning family home that maximises the site by

The typical L-shaped layout of the home has been substantially reimagined, taking advantage of the sloped site to create a cascading arrangement of volumes that steps down from the street level to the rear living area and garden. Skylights flood the interior with natural light, bringing the interior to life.
