Terms and Conditions

Tongue & Groove will not be held responsible for the quantity required for your project. Our quotations are based on quantities provided by you only. It is your responsibility to check the final quantity with your builder and installer. Should additional flooring be required, you will be invoiced accordingly and it will incur additional delivery fees.

Natural Variations

As we are supplying a natural timber product - colour and grain variation along with characteristics such as knots are to be expected. It is the responsibility of the installer to inspect the boards and take care to evenly distribute the boards considering knots and variation. Any boards deemed to be imperfect should be set aside and counted as waste material. Should a large proportion of boards be deemed imperfect/faulty and the job cannot be completed as a result, photo evidence is required to make a claim and the boards should be available for inspection by a Tongue & Groove representative. Due to stock availability and order lead times, our 2500 mm lengths may be supplied as 2200mm lengths
and if this is the case you will be notified.

Machining Tolerances

All Tongue & Groove boards are manufactured according to acceptable industry standards, which permit tolerances in dimensions by no more than 7% and a machining tolerance of 0.6mm. Please read our Installation Guide for further information.

Forward Orders

The estimated lead-time for forward orders of standard stock items is 12-14 weeks. This does not include any unforeseen delays due to shipping. Should any shipping delays occur and you wish to cancel your order as a result, Tongue & Groove will refund any deposits paid, less a 20% cancellation fee (based on the total order value). We will endeavour to notify you as soon as we hear of any delays. Please note, cancellations are not possible for custom/special order items, including stair nosings.

Interstate Deliveries from Sydney

Please note we require a minimum of one weeks' notice from when payment has been received in full to organise deliveries outside of the Sydney Metro area (such as regional or interstate).

Quoted Delivery Costs

Delivery costs have been quoted based on information provided at the time of quoting. Unless stated otherwise, delivery is to kerbside only and does not include unload assistance. You will need to organise for at least two people to unload the boxes from the vehicle. 30 minutes has been allocated to unload the vehicle, and you will be invoiced accordingly if more time is required. Clear instructions regarding site access must be given (e.g. if unload assistance or specialised vehicles will be required).

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations will incur a 20% cancellation fee based on the total order value. No cancellations are allowed for any custom/special order items.

Return Policy

All returns will incur a freight charge back to our Sydney warehouse (unless dropped off), plus a 20% re-stocking fee. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of delivery, for a minimum of three packs. Returns will only be accepted for unopened and undamaged boxes with photographic proof required. Where applicable, refunds will be paid after final inspection and approval by our Sydney warehouse.
