Occupying a subtly sloping hill in a leafy corner of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Rose Bay House by 

 is a three-storey, five-bedroom family home that exudes elegance.

A brilliant blue double-door entry makes a bold statement at arrival, while introductions of colour and pattern are delicately explored in the living and sleeping areas. White walls contrast beautifully with rich blue tones and dark grey timber flooring to create a sophisticated environment.

A sinuous, ribbon-like staircase grandly links all three levels of the home, incorporating various bedrooms, a rumpus room, home theatre, wine cellar, study, formal dining, pool, casual living and outdoor dining terrace for living and entertaining on a grand scale.

, Eterno classic wire-brushed finish and Grande format feature throughout the interior of this home.

With its dark pewter grey tones and brown undertones, Otta is a unique colour that works in a range of environments, such as this incredible house.

 was approached to transform a former worker’s cottage in New Farm, Brisbane, into a characterful family home, he drew inspiration from the Queensland vernacular – most notably the iconic Queenslander. “The home had to be light and bright yet still have a sense of personality, warmth, and depth,” says Favell. 

“The New Farm Residence design focused on creating a modern, elegant extension to the worker’s cottage to embrace the lifestyle of the contemporary Queenslander.”

Wategos Beach in Byron Bay is a tranquil spot, much-loved for its pristine natural beauty, and it was this breathtaking landscape that inspired the architecture and interior palette of Brahimy House by

Before its current incarnation as one of the most impressive homes in Norwood, Adelaide, this sandstone villa was a tired dwelling in need of a full overhaul – and one that its current owners had spent more than five years dreaming of owning. The home was eventually put on the market and bought by a friend of the couple, who then sold it to them six months later. Split symmetrically across two titles, it was a golden opportunity to subdivide the property. With the design vision of 

, however, the clients transformed it into a spectacular family home.

A small 1882 worker’s cottage in Sydney’s inner-west suburb of Leichhardt has been transformed into a stunning family home that maximises the site by

The typical L-shaped layout of the home has been substantially reimagined, taking advantage of the sloped site to create a cascading arrangement of volumes that steps down from the street level to the rear living area and garden. Skylights flood the interior with natural light, bringing the interior to life.
